Health Issues for Greed, Leave the Amazon Alone

In my previous post about the Amazon Fires I wrote about how the fires would affect our health directly. Due to the pollutants being released into the air thus forcing use to inhale this pollutants into our system. As anyone would of guessed it is not good for our bodies and are extremely harmful.

I posted this image in order to prove to you my concerns of Brazil and neighboring countries. Millions of people are forced to inhale all of that every day. Pollutants are expected to aggravate heart disease and inflammation, nerve disorder and even cancer. 

CNN reports there's been a spike in the number of breathing problems and hospitalizations among children in Brazil. Children are among the first to be affected due to their developing bodies. In May and June about 5 000 children were hospitalized for each month. That's 10 000 children in 2 months of the fire burning. Imagine July, August and Septembers numbers. THESE ARE CHILDREN SUFFERING.



These innocent children are suffering due to deforestation illegally and in order to bring wealth into the country. They don't deserve this. They don't deserve to be rushed to the hospital for oxygen and to have a dramatic increase in developing diseases and disorders just for being born. Or anyone for that matter.



It is really worth it? Burning the amazon I mean. Is burning such a beautiful place, such a beautiful gift worth the "wealth"? Is the suffering of our own brothers and sisters worth money. What is the world doing about it? What is Jair Bolsonaro doing?

Pride Parades for countries like Uganda

So several people have asked me why we still have pride marches or parades, why do we still fight for it? In all honesty, I always reply "The fight isn't over, we are but in the midst of it all". Out of the 195 countries in the world, about 28 of the countries accept gay-marriages. That's 14,3% of governments globally. The rest of the 167 countries consider being part of the community a crime. In most of these countries it is a crime punishable by death. So, ask me that question again? Statistics show that our fellow siblings are being sent to their death of being authentic and that breaks my heart. Imagine that, imagine it being a crime to be happy and in love. Imagine it is a crime to be fearlessly authentic. Imagine that, I don't know about you but that doesn't sound like how life should like be at all. They People Too

I have a dream. Well, at least I had one. It will stay in the past tense for as long as the current president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, remains with his mindset that the deforestation of the Amazon is the key to increasing Brazil's wealth. Though his greed, my dream will never come true. For years I've always said I'd travel in the Amazon settle with one of the tribes and learn their way, in the hope to use their knowledge to create a better society. I dreamed that I'd represent the minority whenever I could. So here I am.. On his first day in office Brazil's current president, Jair Bolsonaro, loosened protective regulations that were placed in 1988. The regulations placed in order to protect the tribes from previous decades of violence and discrimination.
