About Me

Name's Charlie Brown. I live in South Africa and unfortunately do not have a pet lion. Although, I must say, it must be quite expensive to have one considering everything here is overpriced. I do, however, have a dog of a similar color to a lion and 2 other dogs which I absolutely adore. I am depressed and like most of us I tend to listen to way too much music, sleep way to much and binge on chocolate. Don't get me started on the expensive therapy (which I am grateful for cause I'm being helped and there are people out there who don't). I also have Panic Disorder which isn't fun.. at all.

Anyway, I'm currently studying PPL (Politics, Philosophy and Law). I love reading, I literally have a book with me wherever I go. Yes, including a club. I have books on my phone and yes I've read in a club.. a couple times. My love for reading came from my mom's love for education and teaching, no I'm not a straight A student or even close. I do, however, have an exceptionally curious mind. Probably the reason I don't get straight A's because I think about everything else but what I'm "supposed" too.

So I choose to use my curiosity and my love for reading to make these posts. I'm a Intern at the Durban Youth Council or DYC for short. They a bunch of incredible kids who want to change the world. That's where everything ties up.

I want to use my curious mind and love for knowledge and books to help educate others and help them understand about the things happening around them. We live in a world with one too many problems to be solved and I want this to be part of my contribution to our world. In hope of it to change and become a better one.

I'd like to end off saying a VERY BIG thank you to someone who finally pushed me to pursuing my dreams. Rose Perrins, without you this blog wouldn't of existed. Without you, I wouldn't of believed in myself and my thought processes to share it with everyone (being an introvert is hard lol). Without you, I wouldn't be who I am today. So thank you so much and I love you. Always.
